We are looking for a

Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting financial analyses and providing in-depth credit assessments that drive sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risk, support strategic lending, and contribute to ESG and green finance initiatives. This is a great opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a dynamic, values-driven environment where your insights will directly impact and support strategic lending decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process customers’ financial data with accuracy and attention to detail

• Analyse creditworthiness using key financial ratios, industry peer comparison, and market trends

• Evaluate customers' credit history

• Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured credit analysis reports for internal stakeholders

• Monitor covenant compliance and review external real estate valuations

• Perform industry-specific reviews

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Risk Management teams to support credit decisions

• Conduct ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analyses based on industry

• Contribute to the assessment of Green and Sustainability-linked loan applications.

About you

• At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related financial field

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis

• High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
